Building inputs
Inputs need to be built once for your project, then you can use them across your application to build forms. Form inputs are built using render props, or for a more custom input you can dive into the hooks API to get the functionality and user experience you want for your input. There are a few different components then can use that are customized to different types of inputs, from the most basic text input to list inputs.
The below input is a more detailed example from the overview page. It has been built to be used with bootstrap CSS framework, defining a full form group with a label and feedback state. It has all the aria labels to make this input accessible.
import { InputGroup } from "@adeattwood/react-form";const Input = ({ attribute, label, className }) => {return (<InputGroup attribute={attribute}>{({ props, error }) => (<div className={["form-group", className].join(" ")}><label className="mb-1" htmlFor={props.id}>{label}</label><input{...props}className={`form-control ${error && "is-invalid"}`}aria-describedby={props.id + "--error"}/><div id={props.id + "--error"} className="invalid-feedback" aria-live="polite">{Boolean(error) && error}</div></div>)}</InputGroup>);};
